Main Mission

Few of the Trust’s achievements from inception are enumerated below:

• Having a Membership of about 2,50,000 from more than 20 countries. Members include eminent personalities in different walks of life like Defence personnel, Doctors, Engineers, Advocates, Bureaucrats of IAS & IPS, IRS, IFS & IRTS etc. Purohits, Scientists, Professors, Housewives, Industrialists, Students, Bankers, etc.
• Conducted many traditional and Sanatana Dharma activities like Nava Chandi Yaga, Satha Chandi Yaga, Gayatri Mahayagna, Brihati Sahasra Yaga, Athi Rudra Maha Yaga, Maha Santrana Yaga etc and working for strengthening Sanatana Dharma.
• Brihati Sahasra Yagam was conducted at the DFI Registered Office premises at Mylardevpalli for three days in the presence and under the guidance of His Holyness Sri Sushamendra Theertha Swamy and His Holyness Suvidyendra Theertha Swamy of Raghavendra Swamy Math, Mantralayam in the year 2002.
• Nava Chandi Yagam was conducted at Agrasen Bhavan, Secunderabad in the year ____in which Sri Vidyanrusimha Bharathi Swamy and Sri Vidyasankara Bharathi Swamy of Pushpagiri Peetham have participated.
• Chandi Yagam was organized at Visakhapatnam in the year 09-09-2012 in which Sadguru Sri Sivananda Murthy attended and blessed Dhanwantari Foundation International.
• Chandi Yagam was also organized at Rajahmundry from 13.10.2012 to 15.10.2012. Pujyasri Paripoornananda Swamiji had attended the event, delivered his Pravachanam and blessed DFI.
• Samoohika Chaturvimsathi Koti Sri Gayathri Mantra Japa Maha Yagnam was conducted at Mylardevpalli, Hyderabad for 4 days from 1.5.2014 to 4.5.2014. Pujyasri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamiji of Kanchikamakoti Peethem, Swami Swaroopananda Saraswathi of Sarada Peetham, Visakhapatnam, Pushpagiri Peethadhipathi, Hampi Peethadhipathi Sri Viroopaksha Swamy and others have participated in the Gayathri Yaganam.
• Athi Rudra Maha Yagam was conducted for 11 days from 27.2.2017 to 9.3.2017 at Sri Balachamundeswari Sametha Amareswara Swamy Temple, Amaravathi. Several Great Peethadhipathis like Sri Vidyasankara Bharathi Swamy of Pushpagiri Peetham, Viswayogi Viswamji, Togoda Madhavananda Saraswathi, Sri Sivaswamy and Several Pravachana Karthas like Sri Mahadev Mani, Sri Viswanatha Gopalakrishna, Sri Chirravuri Sreerama Sharma had attended the Yagam and blessed the participants on the occasion.
• Dharma Samtrana Maha Yagnam was conducted on 19.1.2018 under the guidance of Pujyasri S.A.R.P.V.Chaturvedi Swamiji, Founder and Managing Trustee of Sri Ramanuja Mission Trust, Chennai.
• Free Upanayanams were conducted on 23.4.2015 at Bhavani Shankar Devalayam, Devunithota, Mushirabad , Hyderabad in which about 100 Vatuvus where given Upanayana Samaskara in the holy presence of His Holiness Sri Subhudendra Saraswathi Swamy, Peethadhipathi of Mantralayam Math.
• Again, Free Upanayanams were conducted on 23.4.2016 at Vasavi Adhyaatmika Kendram, Kothapet, Hyderabad in which about 150 Brahmin Vatuvus were given Upanayana Samskara in the holy presence of Sri Vidyasankara Bharathi Swamy of Pushpagiri Peetham.
• Free Upanayanams were organised on 07-05-2018 at Sri Sringeri Shankar Mutt, Nallakunta, Hyderabad in the auspicious presence of Pushpagiri Peethadhipathi in which 75 Vatuvus were given Upanayana Samskara.
• Free upanayanas are also conducted on 09-05-2019 successfully at 6 places i.e., Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Vizag, Tirupati, Rajahmundry and Bangalore simultaneously in which a total of 114 vatuvus were given Upanayana Samskara.
• Conducted 179 Marriage Conventions and helped about 13607 Brahmin couples to get united in wedlock. The present DFI Swayamvaram Website has 4089 profiles of brides and grooms.
• Distributed about Rs.1.38 Crores as scholarships to over 1722 poor Brahmin meritorious students.
• 50 Job Fairs were conducted and provided job placements to over 1000 unemployed Brahmin youth.
• Created a land bank of about 2,200 acres in various districts of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Bangalore and planning to develop Deemed University and other Institutions in the Trust land of about 200 acres.
• Conducted over 159 mega health camps in which about 5000 Doctors had participated and served over 70,000 patients irrespective of caste, creed and religion. Medicines worth about Rs.7,00,000/- were distributed, 7 free surgeries were conducted and spectacles were supplied to 500 needy patients.
• Integrating health services through net work hospitals at nominal costs.
• Encouraging Entrepreneurship qualities among Brahmins.
• Running old age home “DFI Bhavya”, at Vidyanagar, Hyderabad.
• Established branches in the erstwhile Districts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and also in Karnataka, Maharashtra and Delhi and DFI is in the process to spread to the rest of States in India and also abroad.
• Successfully running in-house magazine “Dhanwantari Vani” bringing awareness about the DFI services to members.
• Running various commercial establishments to strengthen financially.
• Performing Satyanarayana Swamy Vratham in the Administrative Office on Pournami day every month, since 7 years and on the same day, providing one day meal to inmates of one orphanage.
• Conducting various literary and cultural seminars and publishing books to propagate Sanatana Dharma.
• Stood in the forefront to support victims of floods at Kurnool in 2009. Distributed medicines, blankets, food packets worth Rs.5,00,000/- to Hudhud cyclone victims at Vizag.
• Established “Dhanwantari Institute of Science & Technology” which in due course would develop as a Deemed University.
• Established DFI IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd for imparting training in the field of IT and also for accepting IT projects.
• Late Sri P.V.R.K Prasad memorial award function was held in August, 2018. Souvenir was released on the occasion. Memorial Award Function was also held in the year 2019 on 21-08-2019
